Maggie and Bupe are cousins on either side of the world who couldn't be more different. Zambian-Nigerian and Zambian-Jamaican, both yearn for their disbanded family to reunite. About the author
Natasha is a Zambian of Nigerian and Jamaican heritage. Born in London, raised in Lusaka. "No Be From Hia" was selected as a Graywolf Africa Press finalist in 2019. Natasha self-published in Zambia, and after some initial success it was acquired by South African publisher Blackbird Books. Her latest short story, "Her Sweetie, Her Sugarcane" is due for publication in Harper Via's anthology "Reflections", in January 2023. She is an alumni of Curtis Brown Creative's Breakthrough Course for Black Writers, and an MA candidate in Creative Writing at Kingston University London. She has three children and works between Lusaka and London.
